Laura, private guide in Dublin

HELLO, I’M LAURA

I live in Rathmines, Dublin 6 .
I work in all over the city.
I hang out in Ranelagh, Phibsborough, Rathmines.

About me

Quirky English girl that’s lived in Dublin for the past 3 years - originally from Liverpool I love discovering the alternative, hidden parts of a city of the beaten track. I moved to Ireland 15 years ago and I like to think this has given me new ways of viewing the beautiful city that is Dublin. I run alternative art events and I’m a freelance graphic designer, so I love to explore cool events happening in the city in the art and design sectors. This includes visiting galleries, exhibitions, working from trendy cafes or hanging out with my artist or musician friends. I spend my days cycling around the city, exploring new venues and art hangouts for new workshops or spending time in the beautiful parks that surround the city. I love reading a good book in St Stephens Green and sipping honey tea in The Tea Gardens. Dublin is my home, it has such creative potential once you know the right places and people, and that’s where I come in! Whether you want to explore the local cuisine, drink your first pint of Guinness, listen to an alternative band, or visit the latest exhibition. I would love to share my experience of Dublin so far and make people fall in love with it as much as I have.
