Hello I’m Paul I’ve lived in Dublin most of my life and am privileged to be called a Dubliner or a ‘Dub’ as we say around here. I’m married and we have three adult children. My first job was a trainee nurse at St Patricks Hospital in James’s Street, founded by Jonathan Swift (who wrote Gulliver’s Travels) over 270 years ago. This is in the heart of period Dublin and surrounded by such historic sites as Guinness brewery, Kilmainham Jail, and Christchurch Cathedral so I was hooked from the word go! Ever since then Dublin City has been part of my DNA and has something unique to offer everyone. I love jazz, blues and rock music and Dublin has some great music pubs. For relaxation there is nothing I like better than a long stroll on one of Dublin’s many beautiful unspoilt beaches or cliff walks. Whether you’re a fan of history and culture, the arts, music, literature or simply exploring the best Dublin pubs I’d be delighted to bring you on your own personal adventure and share this great place with you! I hope to see you in Dublin soon!
