Hello, I’m Fabian, a Public History graduate born in the Southwest of Munich. While working on my master's degree in Kassel I was doing internships and working as a Guide in Museums (such as Deutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum Bremerhaven, Museum für Sepulkralkultur Kassel) and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Kassel (focusing on North American Environmental History). What I love about Munich are the many Parks and Lakes, the good bike infrastructure, the large variety of Museums and the nice people, here. I think for a general sightseeing tour the Glockenspiel at the Rathaus is a nice start. Alter Peter or the Olympiaturm gives you a nice view of the city. I also like to visit the Deutsches Museum because of the very large number of different Exhibitions. Some of my favorite places in terms of historical places that I would like to show are the Geschwister Scholl Platz, NS-Dokumentationszentrum München, Ruhmeshalle Bavaria/Theresienwiese and the Kurt Eisner Denkmal. I like to spend most of my time Outdoors, at places like the Alter und Neuer Botanischer Garten, Nymphenburger Schloss/Schlossgarten, Eisbach, or various Outdoor Sportsparks like the Pasinger Stadtpark, or relaxing at the Isar-Flaucher and the Langwieder See. For Food, I like to visit Cafe Gans, Erblis, Siggis, and the Katzentempel. I also like to spend some evenings listening to Alternative and Rock Concerts at Backstage which has a great atmosphere. Let's explore these streets together.
