I am a Tour Guide
Born in 1988 on the Eastern side of the Wall, I grew up in a city that was growing up itself. Berlin has always fascinated me. There are so many things to discover, stories to tell and hidden places to find. In 2008 I decided to turn my hobby into my job and started working as a tour guide. I wasn't the first person in my family to do so: My mother had been giving tours around East Berlin back in the 1980s. Luckily things have changed quite a bit, so unlike my mother, I don't have to fear any KGB or Stasi spies in my groups! Over the years I have worked with some of Berlin's and the World's best established and most popular tour companies, showing around people of all ages and from all corners of the world. I have an undergraduate degree in History and English, and a M.A. in International Relations. In 2013 I lived in New York City, where I worked for the Goethe-Institut and I speak English fluently. My wife is from the UK originally and together we have a son, who's our everything!
