Hello! My name is Sarah, I am a bilingual tour guide in English and Italian. My main passions are history, human beings and performing, that is why I became a tour guide. I have several years experience guiding in one of the main historical attractions in the city and working with the public. Being empathetic is a fundamental skill when working with people, that is why my tours are different according to the age, nationality and needs of my customers. Delivering tours, for me, means also to have a good time and my enjoyment is infectious. Edinburgh is a vibrant jewel immersed in history and culture and it will be a joy to share it with you!

I'm a professional improviser and comedian, performing with Edinburgh's top improvisational theatre groups "Men With Coconuts" and the Holmes-themed "Spontaneous Sherlock". When I'm not entertaining on stage, I teach improv workshops to all ages and skill levels and travel to festivals around the country and abroad. I speak Mandarin Chinese and have a love of Asian culture. During my three years spent in China I have made some lifelong friends, and had some unforgettable experiences - including, but not limited to, modelling for an electric scooter company, recording a radio interview about Chinese Medicine, nearly drowning in the Li river and attending a sheep slaughtering for Eid. I love Edinburgh because not only is it absolutely stunning (even when the weather is rubbish!), every street and building has its own story. Whether there are ghosts in the basement, or an enlightenment scientist lived there, you can spend years in this city and still be surprised by it! And besides, what other UK metropolis has a massive green hill in the middle?

Hey travellers! My name is Ugne and I grew up in a beautiful country called Lithuania. Five years ago I arrived to Edinburgh for the first time with the intention of staying for only a few months. After those unforgettable few months I bought a one-way ticket to South America and thought will never come back to Edinburgh. However I have to warn you because Edinburgh is not just a another touristy capital. It has its magic and simply traps you in. So this is my home now and I couldn't be happier. I travel a lot myself because I love the world we live in. It is diverse, it is colourful, it's full of history and different rhythms. I am a very much nature person therefore you can often see me along green spaces in Edinburgh. I am always up for a pint of craft beer and some good music with it. I am spontaneous, full of positivity and love a good banter. I am always on my bike roaming around Edinburgh streets. Having graduated in Masters of Ecotourism I am recently working at Edinburgh Zoo which is a great place to visit and highly recommend for a day out. I practice yoga, play Brazilian drums and dance West African Dance. I believe that I can be your brilliant guide and show the hidden gems of Edinburgh that I have discovered over the years spent in here. Cheers! See you soon!
