We spent a very nice day with Alfred, a long-time resident of Hong Kong. This is a great tour if it is your first time in Hong Kong and you want to see a variety of places, many of which are unique. To help us understand some of the history of Hong Kong, we started the tour at the Heritage of Mei Ho House Museum (quite an interesting and unique experience). We then visited several local markets (bird and flower). The bird market was especially interesting; so many beautiful birds. We continued our visit with a stop at a local cafe where we were treated to "hong kong style" pineapple buns, coffee and milk tea. We continued on to see the firing of the noon canon at Victoria Harbor and then made our way to a local wet market and had the opportunity to ride a streetcar. Finally, we had the opportunity to explore Hong Kong's subway system as we made our way to the Sky100 Tower for a beautiful (but a little hazy) view of the city skyline and a relaxing drink in the cafe. Finally, we made our way back to our ship using the subway and bus system. Alfred was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and willing to match the pace and itinerary to our interests. A great way to see some interesting parts of Hong Kong.

Bertha is incredible! Our Eat like a Crazy Rich Asian food tour was wonderful . Not only did Bertha introduce us to new foods, but she educated us so much about Hong Kong. She took us on every mode of transportation, into grocery stores, and made sure she took us to a chocolate store to buy truffles. Bertha is warm and very friendly. She picked us up at our hotel on time and communicated the day before verify the time and place of pick up. If you have the chance to tour with Bertha make sure you do so!!

Great tour, our guide made sure that we ate lovely, local food that the local people enjoyed. She was friendly and made sure that we were comfortable the whole evening. She had a good sense of humour and we shared stories about our respective food cultures.
