I am Student
I am 23 years old. I grew up in Vancouver and lived there most of my life, but also lived in California on and off. I have lived in Montreal since I started school at McGill in 2017. Given my studies, I am pretty well versed in the liberal arts and have taken courses on a variety of subjects ranging from art history, film, politics, and social issues, literature, etc. but I also keep up with popular culture and social media so I feel comfortable talking about most topics and am always open to learning new things. I pride myself on really getting to know a city when I live somewhere, and it is one of my favourite pastimes to explore new areas. have spent much of my free time exploring the city and getting to know the best spots, and am always asked for recommendations on local shopping, restaurants, and entertainment in the city. I am very familiar with the main neighbourhoods of Montreal and popular spots in each as well as personal favourites. I really pride myself on learning about a city completely, by familiarizing myself with the neighbourhoods and culture. I often am asked for personal recommendations and have given many tours to friends and family, as well as when I have met newcomers to the city. I really love the architecture of Montreal and would be excited to learn more. I am very familiar with restaurants, cafes, shopping, museums, as well as the art and music scenes in the city. I love meeting new people and showing people new spots. It makes me really happy with I give a recommendation to someone and they end up loving it as much as I do. I am comfortable with getting around the city and following routes.
