Hi, I'm Katie, I am a graduate student in between degrees and love being active, spending time outdoors, and learning new things! Montreal is such a beautiful city some so many things and places make it exceptionally special. Of course, the Old Port is a must-see with tons of beautiful restaurants and street vendors in the summer, as well as the Old Montreal scene in general which has tons of local cute cafes that are perfect for brunching, getting work done, or just hanging out and enjoying the drinks. Further into the city is the cultural Mile End area, where the majority of the Jewish population resides and also includes different Greek- and Italian-owned businesses. Mile End may not look like much from the outside perspective but it's an amazing place to enjoy some authentic Montreal bagels, buy fresh produce at local markets, and enjoy fresh-made Italian gnocchi. Since I am vegan, I also have a keen eye for specialty vegan food and have found some of the top places in the city that serve delicious and wholesome cuisine and are geared toward sustainability. As a recently graduated student, I have also scoped out some of the best cafes with divine coffees and teas and the best vibe for chilling or getting work done. Overall, there is a ton to see in Montreal, and I believe each person can find something about it that is truly special to them. I am looking forward to helping you explore the beautiful city of Montreal.
