My most exciting things to do in Tokyo

I always see myself as a discoverer no matter where I live and how long I have stayed at a place. Now in my third year of stay in Tokyo, I just grow more and more fond of the city and its unique culture. Japan is so different in its own way from all other countries that I have been to, constantly surprise me with its modern vibrant air combined with classic peaceful style. For anyone who come to visit this city, I want to be your friend and show you around to see, touch, listen, taste real Tokyo. I also know prefectures around Tokyo, so if you want to take a day trip to Yokohama or Chiba, Saitama, just let me know and I'll be your best local friend in Tokyo! Also, last but definitely not least, Tokyo is certainly one of the coolest places for shopping and I'll be happy to take you through it!

After spending my 18 years of my life in Gunma, I moved to Yokohama for my college. That was the phase where I realized how much I love traveling and exposing myself to different cultures. I spent half a year in the US, and one year in the Netherlands. I've worked at a guesthouse in Nakano for about a year where I loved to meet and talk with people from various backgrounds. I'm always curious about how travelers find Japanese culture; it gives me different perspectives. I have traveled quite a few myself and it was always the people that made my trip the best. I think traveling in Japan could be hard when you do not understand Japanese. Maybe it's not hard but you would be able to experience more when you do or at least you are with someone who does... Well here I am, I'd love to help you experience more and feel at home here in Japan.

Hello there! I'm half Japanese and Filipino, 23 years old. I speak 3 languages fluently and starting to learn Italian now. I'm a Chef in Tokyo, mainly European and Asian cuisine. I'm very much interested in Food and Beverage. I also love travelling a lot but i hate riding the plane because sitting for long hours is not for me, so I've only been to Asian countries. I live in a place called Asakusa, which is a very famous old area. Temples, old restaurants/cafes, old shops, etc. are located there. I'm interested in a lots of things so I try to go visit places and learn something new. Tokyo is a very different city from anywhere else. It's very new, but it's old. In one place, you'll see all the parks and trees; then in one area with the concrete jungles. I would also recommend you to try cities like Kyoto, Osaka, Kanazawa, etc. Which are really different from each other(Atmosphere, People, etc)

I am a Latin American man living in Tokyo, a happy yogi and proud father. Lover of adventures, new places, technology, history, art, food, music and spiritual life. Tokyo has everything! I love going to new places, learn their stories, secrets, and mysteries and then sharing those treasures. I also love to cook. I believe cooking is a blessing from God. Let's have a fun trip together and see the city from a different view.
