Almost 5 years I left Italy to move to Tokyo and start a new job without knowing any word of Japanese and a very little of the culture of this amazing country. I can say I have a quite strong spirit of adventure and adaptability. I love to get lost wherever I go and find always something new that fulfil my desires. I love laughing and make people feel comfortable is almost a life a mission to me.

Hi! I'm Shinji, I am half brazilian-japanese. I think I am very friendly and I really like to know about other cultures and languages, I think it all gets better after a few beers! My current passion is photography, and I think Tokyo is a special place to practice that.

For starters, I live for food, travel and experience. By profession I am a photographer. I normally work for organisations like Unicef & UNDP and other local organisations around Asia and East Africa. I also write and stories for multiple English language publications in Japan in the pipeline. I love to learn new languages, so I am practicing my Japanese everyday. I like to meet people from different backgrounds and I am happy to show people around this amazingly mysterious city. I am very excited to be living here and I explore something new everyday, so I will be showing around with equal excitement.

His love for what he does and his city is contagious. Highly recommend both to anyone and everyone. Art +Jan
Thanks to Giovanni for the great time and the perfect organization he made during their time spent together in Tokyo.
Giovanni gave us a practical and insightful introduction to Tokyo. He taught us how ride the Metro on our own, gave us a good understanding of the different parts of the city and had good recommendation about what to do and where to go . Thank you!
