A thirty-something American male living in Osaka. I moved to Japan almost a decade ago looking for adventure; I found it! You might think I'm strange, but people are strange when you're a stranger. I make a point of being myself immediately. I follow the golden rule. I live my life honestly but don't pull any punches. I'm smart, stubborn, friendly, fierce and a fervent fanatic of all forms of alliteration. I'll try anything best two out of three times and I have been told I have muse-like qualities. My cat's name is Stinky McSnickerdoodle. I love eating, drinking and meeting people. Osaka is the best city in Japan for all of these things, so I'm enjoying myself everyday!

Hi! Call me Hisa. I was born and grown up in Osaka. Also lived in Kyoto(8 years) and Tokyo(2 years) and came back to Osaka in 2017. I am interested humans' inner spirits and different ways of thinking. At college, I studied psychology, sociology, and linguistics. I used to be a high school teacher, but now I do an analysis and HR job. I have a very easygoing personality in nature and love to talk to everyone from different backgrounds. I am very glad that more and more people recently choose Japan as their travel destination. How exciting! I am really eager to talk to all of you!

My husband and I just had 1 night to explore Osaka before leaving Japan, so we decided to book a tour so we could see it more efficiently. Barun did a fantastic job of showing us the city and sharing some truly amazing eats! He knows where to get the cheapest/coldest beer, freshest tuna, best takoyaki, and so much more. When we were done we were STUFFED but oh so happy. He also gave some awesome bar recommendations in the area where the tour ended so that my husband and I could continue the fun on our last night. Thanks a lot Barun!!!
Was a great tour guide will use him on my next trip!
