Eccentric New Yorker with big hair, big personality and tons of energy to show you the best, non-mainstream bars and music scene in London. I have lived in London for almost 10 years and I also know the best markets and independent fashion shops to buy unique garments. I'm a proud father to a 1 year old so I have lately discovered cool, baby-friendly places and restaurants where adults can have a good time. I consider London my hometown; it is vibrant, forever morphing and just really cool. Don't stick to zone 1, there is a much bigger London out there!

I am a 31 year old born and bred London girl currently living in the vibrant heart of London's East End, Dalston. I spend half my time cycling around the city, finding hidden spots off the tourist track. I spend evenings trying London's diverse cuisine, dancing and often frequent the city's abundance of art galleries, cinema's and cultural events. I have a Masters degree in Chinese Studies and a wealth of travel experience around Asia; cycling around temples in Burma, working as a journalist in Taipei, studying yoga in South India. I am passionate about showing people from around the world my hometown. As a traveler, I know how unique your trip can became through the eyes of a local. I am also a certified yoga and rock climbing teacher and can take you climbing indoors in a London Castle!

Hello! I'm Inês, an artist who has gone through the motions in London! I love this city and I have worked in many of its different parts but kept my residential love in East, both North and South. London is really eclectic and I somehow embody that ethos, being slightly extroverted and with some quirks but currently appreciating the calmer aspects of life. Calmer doesn't mean boring!! It just means stress free!! I love meeting new people and swap life experiences. You will find in me a good listener but also someone who has a lot to give. I am not a fan of mainstream culture and I search for the niche, which normally comes with local life. As an amateur musician, I love going to see live music and smaller venues are also my favourite, with jazz and blues being a favourite, however, the local music scene is now so eclectic that I am always thrilled to listen to new bands as they are exciting and bring a refreshing genres mix. I am easy-going but you will find that I have a strong ethical background, so I will be avoiding some brands and places due to their unethical nature. Otherwise, for me, the main thing is to have a good time, with plenty of laughter!
