I have lived in the very centre of Edinburgh for the past 3 years, hugely enjoying the access to Edinburgh's cultural attractions, restaurants and bars and beautiful architectural history. I recently completed a degree in Performance Costume at Edinburgh College of Art and currently work as a freelance tutor within the arts. I have a wide range of interests which include, but extend far beyond, costume design. I am enthusiastic about many creative disciplines such as textiles, theatre, illustration, painting, sculpture, printing, dance, and jewellery. In addition to this I am a keen city cyclist and know the city well as a pedestrian. I am a wildlife enthusiast, I love spotting otters in the water of Leith, seals puffins and gannets and the coast and venturing further afield to see eagles and red deer, I also love volunteering in education for Edinburgh Zoo ! I have over 8 years experience working with children and have a good knowledge of child friendly activities, events and locations. Edinburgh is a great place to explore with or without children, full of hidden locations and intriguing stories.
