About me

I would be glad to show you the most beautiful corners, buildings, churches, squares and monuments of Brussels; a city I have being living in for about 25 years. As a well-educated Italian with a good knowledge of art history and aesthetics, I will show you the best panoramas and architecture of the city. Of course, I would also be available to present you with other aspects of Belgium and its capital, from different angles such as economy, society, artistic life, European affairs, business climate in Belgium and Brussels, international relations, government matters and any other subjects which may interest you.

I enjoy my life as much as possible. I like to constantly meet new people and being around as much as I can. Explosive personality and love for style and culture. People love my spirit of initiative and the fact that I have always something to propose and recommend, especially at night. Brussels is not a place to visit but a place to live. Nightlife is extraordinary and the melting pot has nothing to fear compared to other big European cities. The world is here let me just show it to you ;)

Private experience in Brussels was wonderful!

Mr. Andrea Mogni is a wonderful host! I booked at the last minute (the night before) but I feel like my husband and I were so lucky to have Andrea as our host. He is Italian but has lived in Brussels for decades working in the EU as an economist. He has a wealth of knowledge that is unbelievable- history, language, economics, politics, art to name a few. We got to see all the major sites in a very organized way. As other reviewers have noted, he took us into some of the historic hotels where we saw things not often seen by tourists that were very interesting. We have traveled around the world and I would say that Andrea is one of the best guides we have ever had. I highly recommend Andrea!

Kickstart Your Trip Experience in Brussels

I was introduced to the city of Brussels (July 5, 2018) by Dr. Andrea Mogni, who was the local guide appointed by City Unscripted for this. It was my first visit both to Brussels and to Belgium, a country I did not know much about. At the end of the day I had been introduced to the basics of Belgian history and culture, as well as to the city of Brussels itself - and had a new understanding of everything surrounding me. Considering how short my stay was (4 days) it would have been highly improbable for me to understand many of the things I saw or was in contact with had it not been for this initial tour with a professional guide. Dr. Andrea Mogni is a living and walking encyclopedia who offered detailed as well as fascinating information concerning both the city and the Belgian environment, in general. I am grateful to Dr. Mogni, as well as to City Unscripted, for this choice of guide and for the personalized experience they offered. I highly recommend taking this type of kickstart tour with City Unscripted, a company that organizes things excellently.
