Hi I’m Darren, originally from the UK, but resident in Berlin for the last 7 years. I love this city as I’ve loved London, New York and Johannesburg. Each place had something to uncover and that’s what I like to do. I’m a History graduate so that side of things interests me, but as I discover each day, there is much more to Berlin – night and day. Whatever your thing, leisurely family strolls to quick buzz tours, river sunsets to raucous nights, I’m happy to show you around and share what I’ve learned about my city. Darren was an amazing guide. We knew we wanted to experience Berlin but didn't have any specifics other than seeing the Berlin Wall history and experiencing life as a local. We walked approximately 25km (16mi) in the 8 hours and we saw the history of dictatorship the cold war and how life is now. The unique architecture of things rebuilt after the war. He also took us to a great local place to get a doner kebab - and it was fantastic! Darren has even helped us after the tour with questions as we continued to explore on our own. I would highly recommend city unscripted and Darren on this tour.
