Artistic and creative Swede showing you around my favourite city, with or without a skateboard under my feet :) I know a lot about Barcelona, I have lived here for many years and I love the way culture and art always seem to be present wherever I go. Ciutat Vella is my favourite are and where I spend most of my time, the contrast between old areas and new futuristic ones makes it a really interesting city to visit and to live in. I am interested in arts, history, language and culture and I am sure I can make sure the visitors will see and experience places and events that you typically won't find in the tourist brochures.

I'm architect and photographer, lucky to be born and live in Barcelona. Of course there are many interesting cities around the world that I've visited and enjoyed, but everytime I'm back home I realised how unique is Barcelona. History, architecure, food, ... and let's be clear: weather matters. Comparing with other cities, we just "suffer" a couple of weeks of real cold during the year. And it doesn't rain much, so the outdoor culture is one of the main features of this city. One of my favourite activities is actually quite simple: just taking a walk and stop for a drink in a terrace. I'll be pleased to share that walk with people interested in Barcelona, its history, curiosities ... After all my life here I think I could say I know things! As an architect I can tell this is one of those amazing cities to study. I always ask myself why things are where they are. So I find so interesting its evolution since the roman years until today. Every stone has its history. I think that knowing what happens behind the scenes helps a lot to enjoy properly the show. As a photographer, I love to observe, and there's always something interesting to shoot. You never know when that's going to happen, so ... yes, my camera is always with me. I like to be aware of the culture agenda of the city: live music, Art (lots of exhibitions to see), and many other events. If you get bored in this city is only because you want to! If you want me to help you to have the best experience in Barcelona, be my guest. Fins aviat!

I know the Old City as the back of my hand. So let's take a stroll in the Born Quarter's historic guilds and trades, actually a plethora of artisans workshops, vintage boutiques, cosmopolitan bistros, and hidden patios where you can stop and have a drink. Time to discover amazing wines you never heard of--elaborated with ground-breaking Catalonian grapes: White Grenache, Carignan, Trepat, Hairy Grenache... You will enjoy the food pairing at Cal Pep with quick tapas of fish, shellfish, and fresh produce. And if you fancy an excursion out of the city taking advantage of the balmy Mediterranean weather, meet the wine makers and have a tasting at the vineyard.

I'm 27, I'm from Poland and I have been living in Barcelona for three years. I work as Office Manager and I'm also a freelance photographer. I studied Audiovisual Production in both countries, lived in NYC, London, around Spain and in Poland. I'm addicted to travels so if you are adventure junkie like me - we would find a lot to talk about. One of my other big passions is gastronomy - I see cooking as a form of meditation and I always look to try new flavors from local restaurants. Most of the time I eat vegan, although I like sea food as well. I love live music and know pretty much about what's going on in the city. Whenever you come to Barcelona - you're very welcome! I'll do my best to show you the beauty of this city!
