Alex was amazing. He showed so many wonderful things and was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the art and history of Rome. The best money spent on our trip was this tour.

We did the 3 hour walking tour through Rome with Alessandra. We've done and enjoyed many tours, but Alessandra was quite possibly the best tour guide we have ever had! She is friendly, kind, energy, enthusiastic, and full of interesting information. It was my husband and me and our two sons (16 and 14) and she took time to talk to each of us and get to know us and keep us all engaged. We didn't come prepared with a complete list of things we wanted to see, and we had already scheduled to see many main attractions on separate days, but Alessandra was able to think on the fly and come up with so many interesting places to visit that weren't already on our itinerary. Her passion and enthusiasm for the city of Rome and the history associated with Rome is evident and comes through in her tours. By the end of the three hours we felt we had made a friend and we were sorry to have the tour come to an end. We all had such a good time. Can't recommend her or the tour highly enough!! Andrea brought me to everywhere I wanted to go and had a huge knowledge of the era I was interested in. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Our guide was educated and informative. We enjoyed different local food while seeing and discussing many historical sites. Our guide was very personable and it felt as though we were visiting and chatting with an old friend.

We felt comfortable with our guide and she with us. It was like having a meal with a friend.

Vanya was absolutely fabulous! I asked for hidden gems & off the beaten track, in line with my interests - & Vanya did a great job! Full of information, Vanya was fun, friendly & I had a wonderful 4 hours. Will definitely ask for Vanya, when I am back in Rome

Vania’s passion for Rome is apparent as we walked through the cobbled streets. She took us to many hidden gems where tourists were less likely to go. She took us to her recommendations of tiramisu, gelato, coffee, and other Roman favorites! She definitely made our trip better by guiding us off the beaten path!

Our tour guide Indira did a wonderful job of showing us many unique views on our tour. The rose garden was great, history throughout the tour was very helpful.

Indira was very nice and created a tour that showed us exactly what we wanted to see. She answered all our questions using her vast knowledge of Roman history. She also gave us great suggestions on what to do during the rest of our trip.

Angelo was the perfect tour guide - he asked us what we would like to see ahead of time and then tailored the tour to our interests. He was knowledgeable about Rome’s extensive history and had interesting stories to share about Rome’s details that we otherwise would never had learned about. We did the three-hour tour, which was great for a leisurely walk around a few of Rome’s neighborhoods, so we got to enjoy the atmosphere of the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you can, try to get Angelo!! Grazie mille!

We had a 2 hour tour of the Vatican including the Basilica di San Pietro. We walked from the Campo di Fiori, stopping to learn about the many places we passed along the way. We were new to Rome so having a personal guide show us the ropes was really nice.

We enjoyed the tour and learned several little extra bits of information.

Luca Modesti is a superb guide. Not only incredibly knowledgeable but so personable as well. Luca was our guide for 3 hours in Rome. He asked us what we were interested in and proceeded to fulfill all our requests and then some! He even gave us a list of places to visit and favorite restaurants for the next couple of days while in Rome. I can’t say enough about our time with Luca. It was a highlight of our visit to Rome.

The Customized tour of Rome was one of the highlights of my trip to Rome. As someone studying the language, I was interested in having a private tour in Italian while at the same time learning and seeing the sites around Rome. I was assigned Luca and he was everything that I could have asked for in a guide - knowledgable, friendly, and patient with my learning of the language. Luca took me off the beaten path through the many layers of Rome's history over a four hour span. It was an amazing experience and one that I will treasure for years to come. Grazie mille!

We had a great experience with this private guided tour. Our guide Luca was very kind and knowledgeable and had curated a tour with our interests in mind. We saw architecture and spots off the beaten path and learned about history we would otherwise not have heard off. Would recommend this tour!

Rome is such an amazing city, so much history and culture! I was the only member of our family who had been to Rome in the past. For our first morning in the city, I wanted a private walking tour to get everyone oriented and excited about the next 4 days we'd be spending there. Our highly professional and personable guide, Massimo Avella, did not disappoint. He arrived at our hotel early and greeted us enthusiastically. It was his sincere wish to show us his beloved city with our particular interests in mind -- and not just history and culture, but also restaurant and shopping recommendations. He kept us entertained and informed throughout our 3 hours together, and when we had to say goodbye, left us wishing it didn't have to end so soon! Thank you, Massimo!

Olga provided us with a wonderful walking tour of Rome, showing us sites we never would have found without a knowledgeable guide. She went above and beyond to confirm the tour with us as I lost my cell phone in the airport prior to arrival. She was very patient while we explored sites and offered additional time frequently. She was very friendly, went at a good pace, and provided us with a wealth of information. I highly recommend her!

Olga was very knowledgeable in everything Rome has to offer. She took us to areas of Rome we wouldn’t have gotten to without her guiding us through the city! She took great pictures of us along the way and pointed out important parts of the city’s history and gave us a perfect amount of information on each one while allowing us to see as much of the city as we could. Our Tour guide Olga was fantastic. Contact was made very early and everything personalized. She cared about who we were, was fun, welcoming and friendly. Her knowledge of Ancient Rome and Architecture is amazing, we learned a lot through a relaxed walk around Rome. She also adapted according to the weather conditions and made sure we didn’t miss out on the main points during our stay after the tour. Make sure to ask for Olga if you book this tour. Olga was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about Roman/Italian history. She was patient, generous with her time and knows the city like the back of her hand.

A custom experience that we have never had before. We filled the questionnaire almost in reverse, stating the places we had already seen and did not wish to see again. Nadia communicated often to be sure she could make a good plan for us. We saw things we didn't even know existed, enjoyed the inside of a basilica, and spent time in the Jewish Ghetto. One of our fellow travelers who tried to find a site on there own, without a guide never found it even though it was not far from our hotel. A guide is a worthwhile expense

There is so much to see that internet searches can't reveal. We very much enjoyed our walking tour of Rome with a local guide. We filled out a questionnaire before-hand, which helped shape the tour to best fit our interests, capabilities & limitations (being an "aging couple"). Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. She showed us things we never could have found on our own. I even "upgraded" my straw hat to a real one from a company making them since the mid 1800's! From pictures to purchases to palate, it was well worth the extra cost for a private tour. Group tours are adequate, but this was specifically tailored to our interests & capabilities.

Nadia is friendly and easy to connect with. She is open to questions and is quite knowledgable. Her English is excellent and she is full of great suggestions! She even went out of her way and time and met us in our hotel lobby rather than the original meeting point that is 30 min walk for us. Beautiful lady and very helpful!

Claudio is an amazing historian. He took the time to point out specific sites of historical importance and architecture. Claudio took us down beautiful floral lined streets and alley ways that we would otherwise of not seen. I would recommend him to anyone for a private tour of Rome.

Claudio was an excellent guide! We saw things we had never seen before on our previous trips to Rome. He made the experience so fun and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and I highly recommend it.

Claudio was a very excellent and kind host who paid attention to my unique needs. He took me to boutiques that I never would have found by myself, helped me find pieces that work for me and gave advice for my style. We paused for beverages and for beautiful vistas of Rome. The pace was very good for me and we took care of everything on my list: gifts for family, something for the home, and many lovely things for me. I am not a great shopper. Prior to my afternoon with Claudio, I was not finding the kinds of shops that suited me. He gave me advice for any further shopping if I need it.

Claudio was a wonderful host who took me to the exact types of boutiques that I wanted. We covered everything on my list in shops I never would have found on my own. We paused for history and beautiful vistas while keeping a pace that was good for me. Claudio gave me good clothing advice and helped find sizes for me.

Andrea, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also considered what we were capable of and tailored the walk to accommodate our needs.

If we or any family should come back to Rome I would ask for him

Andrea was a fantastic tour guide! I would highly recommend him if you have an interest in the history of Rome and Christianity. I learned so much from my time with him. He is also warm, kind, and clearly loves his city and his vocation. My tour with Andrea has been the highlight of my trip so far!
