Our tour in Munich was outstanding. Such a knowledgable friendly man. His knowledge of the city and the history of Bavaria and Munich was extensive. We would highly recommend Chenbakh as a guide

We had a great experience with Naveen on Friday! My 3 friends and I thought we would take an uber or taxi from airport hotel to downtown. Naveen suggested we take the train and we are so glad we did! He gave us explicit instructions and it was great taking public transportation in Munich! Our tour included many stops where Naveen would explain the history and events that took place in those locations. We were interested in buying a German Nutcracker and he took us to a little shop that sold authentic nutcrackers! He also took us to two Christmas markets. We visited the Hofbrau House and enjoyed a German beer and pretzel! It was a fantastic afternoon! Thank you Naveen and aviator!

My experience with City Unscripted was wonderful. After I made my reservation, they sent me a questionnaire with questions to help understand what I am interested in seeing in Munich. City Unscripted assigned me a guide who contacted me via What’s App to introduce himself. In June, 6 months before our tour, the guide, Naveen, asked if we had any special requests. We kept in contact and exchanged a few texts until our scheduled tour in December 2025, When I had questions about logistics and details about the tour, I messaged City Unscripted . Ryan would answer promptly. Naveen is a stellar guide. He is flexible and accommodating . He has an excellent sense of people. He read and understood our needs. He knew immediately that one member of our group had a difficult time walking so he checked up on this person frequently. I give Naveen and Ryan of City Unscripted high marks.

Anna was amazing and accommodating! The weather wasn’t the greatest so we made different plans but still had a great time.

Private guide is the way to go in a busy city. Anna packed in a ton and could fit in little stops with our small group. Easier to ask questions in a private group and hear all the history when walking around.

Anna packed a ton into our day! From history to art to food plus gave us ideas on our own for the next day.

Great four hour overview of the city. Michelle did such a great job taking our small group around Old Town on a busy Sunday afternoon. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating of our group. Highly recommended for folks who want to get a flavor of Munich in a short amount of time!

Our guide, Michelle, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and pleasant she gave us a great overview of the city and covered my area of interest WW2. We had walked much of the old town on our own but she was really able to add great color.

Brigid was phenomenal! Very personable and very knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful 1/2 day tour! Brigid was a great guide, and interacted well with the whole family group - ages 10-73. She took us to the top sites and the not-so-well known sites, each with plenty of interesting background. She kept the children engaged, and provided history and context at each site. As a bonus , we learned how to use the Munich public transportation system, which can sometimes be a bit intimidating for tourists. We heartily recommend Brigid!

We had such a wonderful time on our Munich city tour with Brigid! She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s rich history, but she also has a warm, engaging way of bringing every stop to life. From the grandeur of the palace to the charm of Marienplatz and beyond, we got to see so much of this amazing city and learn stories we never would have discovered on our own. Brigid kept the pace perfect, answered all our questions, and even shared some excellent brewery recommendations that we happily put to use later. If you want a tour that’s both informative and fun, Brigid is the one to book!

Our tour with Linus was great. We wanted to learn about Bavaria and Munich with some history about Hitler mixed in and that is exactly what we got! Our tour guide took us inside some wonderful places that we never would have visited on our own. Highly recommend!

We visited places and went inside buildings we never would have visited on our own. Linus weaved an informative narrative throughout the tour and offered some recommendations for where we should definitely return for a fuller visit. The tour also showed us that the part of the city we wanted to tour more was easily walkable. This was a great introduction to Munich and Bavaria! Thank you Linus!

She shared a wealth of information, especially about Munich’s role in World War II, and made everything come alive with her storytelling. The tour was the perfect mix of history, culture, and beautiful sights. Highly recommend this tour, and if you can, request Gaby—you won’t be disappointed!

Great experience for two of the seven on our tour. Five of us couldn’t attend due to our flight being cancelled, but from what I understand the tour was great!

The tour was a good over view of the city and its history. Our guide Jeff was very knowledgeable. We walked for 3hours and he sent us to a local spot for lunch. Worth the trip.

Phillip is truly a local expert, passionate about his city and very charming too!. The off the beaten track tour was really eye opening. You would never imagine such parts of Munich. Cool, edgy places, beautiful nature and environmental regeneration and unusual and inspiring architecture.

This was a very good tour of Munich old town and several surrounding areas. Good mixture of going inside churches etc. and walking by buildings. Guide was very good and friendly.

We were late because of the traffic caused by the soccer game. But Sabina was right there waiting for us. She modified the tour on the fly, and gave us an amazing experience. She was even willing to walk us to the Ubahn station! We learned so much in a short amount of time. I highly recommend taking the private tour. Maybe you'll get lucky and get Sabina too!

Sabina was a great tour guide for Munich. She also happens to have extensive knowledge of best authentic restaurants around and beer making. We were pleasantly surprised that despite being from Rome, she knows so much about Germany and all of the sites. We also enjoyed discussing Rome where we went last year. I would highly recommend her as a guide! Her English was perfect!

Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable of Munich.

Esper did a fantastic job showing us around Munich and sharing hidden places. His art knowledge was a huge plus especially as he explained various imagery and architecture in some of the sites we visited. We enjoyed the tour and Esper tremendously!

Esper was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and took us to places we would never have discovered on our own. The 300 steps up the tower were challenging, but we were rewarded with spectacular views at the top. Highly recommend this tour.

My guide Emper was very knowledgeable and personable. VIator would not let me chose my Munich motel as a meeting place but Emper and I texted each other and we met just outsider the hotel entrance doors. It was a 2 hour walking tour but we went past the 120 minute time, He recommended places to eat, taught me how to buy a subway ticket good for 24 hours, and showed churches, the city hall, city gates and squares. Well worth the cost.

Our walking tour was personalized, insightful, and so fun! Dani is such an engaging speaker, and so knowledgeable about history, culture, and had great tips on how to help us navigate the area. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Our tour guide Camilla showed us around the city during our first night in Munich. What a way to start the trip! The guided walking tour throughout the city gave us an overview of what the city had to offer us. We felt extremely comfortable finding our way around after the walking tour. Camilla is very knowledgeable able the city and its surroundings. She showed us places that we would have never discovered on our own. I would highly recommend this tour.
